Merry Xmas to all club members, sponsors, supporters and other Auckland Clubs.

The magic day is all but upon us and I hope you all have a super day tomorrow with your families or whoever you chose to spend the day with. If the weather keeps up like today, the beach is where I’m heading so if you see what appears to be a whale stranding, relax, it’s probably only me 

The Club has been in great spirits over the last few weeks with Barefoot Bowls functions galore. Last week saw at least one group use the club’s facilities every day of the week. By Friday night, rumour has it that our Secretary/Manager was feeling a little ragged and may have perhaps over indulged? But who knows? Onehunga is certainly not a club to entertain gossip or idle rumour……..

The Hyundai Nationals are in Wellington this year and a number of Onehunga’s finest are making the journey south. Regular updates and match reports will be available on Radio Sport. If you happen to be in an area that cannot receive radio transmission but you are connected to the internet, check out our club website www.onehungabowls.co.nz where there will be a link available to keep you up to date with our members’ progress in this very prestigious event.
